It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of a founding member of Lorensbergs, Frank Stenman. ♥️ He was more than a pioneer in his field, he was a mentor, a partner and a friend. His cheeky grin, the sound of him stirring his coffee and his great insight are etched in our collective memory. This is an incredible loss for his family and loved ones and his profession. Our thoughts are with this family. ♥️
Frank saw and valued people for who they are, believing in each individuals’ and groups’ potential to grow and evolve. He was convinced that real progress could not be achieved through a one-size-fits-all approach, but emerged from the genuine connection between people. Over the years, he maintained a solutions-focused approach in his work, where success was defined by the collaborative efforts made possible by dialogue and recognising existing strengths.
He was a pioneer in Sweden, together with Lorensbergs co-founder Malin Morén, bringing Medarbetarskap (Dialogue Process) and Facilitation into the public sector. His curiosity about and participation in new research in Organisational Development never waned, and his experience enabled him to build that much needed bridge between academia and practice.
Frank was a true founder in every sense of the word. He established a foundation that infuses depth, knowledge, and a sense of unity into all our work. His influence extends beyond a legacy; it forms the very DNA of Lorensbergs.
You will be so missed, Frank ♥️
