We live in a world where change is constant, and complexity is constantly increasing. This brings many positive aspects for organizations, such as increased innovation, greater influence, and a dynamism that can offer more choices for managers and employees. But not all change is positive, at least not in the short term; sometimes, we encounter problems and even crises that require strong organizational resilience. The concept of resilience comes from the English word “resilience,” a combination of resilience, strength, and endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You are warmly welcome to our first Arena event, where you will have the opportunity to listen to Stefan Tengblad as he discusses his latest research on how we build resilience within organizations and how we increase our flexibility and strength in facing changes. Stefan is a professor in human resource management at the Center for Global HRM. He has been researching complexity, organizational development, and leadership for over twenty-five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After Stefan’s lecture, we at Lorensbergs will facilitate a dialogue on resilience. We hope to provide you with inspiration and new insights into the subject and also create unexpected connections among the participants. There will be an opportunity to ask questions to Stefan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
